Our De-Shed Add-On is designed specifically for double-coated breeds that shed heavily or need extra help maintaining a healthy coat. It’s the perfect solution for keeping your dog’s skin and coat in great condition between full grooms — and yes, it’s compulsory for most double-coated dogs unless they’re booked in for a full haircut.

Unlike many groomers, we don’t rely on de-shedding shampoos or conditioners. Those products might seem convenient, but they actually dry out the coat and encourage more shedding by loosening hair earlier than it naturally would. Instead, we use the right tools, skill and patience — not shortcuts.

Our process combines high-velocity drying, conditioning treatments, and thorough brushing to remove as much loose undercoat as possible without damaging or thinning your dog’s top coat. The result is a cleaner, lighter, healthier coat that still protects your dog the way it’s meant to.

De-shedding is charged at $25 per 15 minutes spent, as every dog’s coat and tolerance are different. We take the time needed to do it properly — no rushing, no cutting corners.
